We often have trouble conceiving innovative business models because we are held back in our thinking by status quo. The status quo stifles imagination. One way to overcome this problem is to challenge conventional assumptions with “what if” questions. With the right business model ingredients, what we think of as impossible might just be doable. “What if” questions help us break free of constraints imposed by current business models. They should provoke us and challenge our thinking. They should disturb us as intriguing, difficult-to-execute propositions.

  1. Might be good content, but unreadable. I think the concepts for the business model might be good. But this book is so poorly designed I'm having a very hard time reading it. I'm a graphic designer, and my work includes book design, and I love an interestingly designed book. But fun design should always take a back seat to readability. I'm not sure why they felt the need to make the type so small, and so low contrast, and on glossy paper. The design choices are really interfering with readers getting full value out of the book...

  2. Not compatible with Kindle reader or Cloud Reader The "Kindle" version of this book cannot be read on Kindle device or the browser-based Kindle Cloud Reader. It can only be read on a PC using the Kindle application. I recommend purchasing a printed version instead of the Kindle version.

  3. Too much effort spent on concept, not enough on content It looks like a middle school art class decided to design a book. Tiny font with lots of big open spaces on every page. Some pages are white, some black, some blue. You have to read the table of contents to decipher the meaning. Why not just use a header? Different fonts that seem randomly placed. 4-color graphics that don't provide any information at all, just for decoration. There was some good information in this book, but it makes you work too hard to find it. Like trying to find pearls of...
