With ancient wisdom that is as relevant in modern times as it was then, 'Meditations' is one of the greatest works of Greek and philosophical literature. Written in Greek by an intellectual Roman emperor without any intention of publication, this book gives an insight into the inner life and philosophy of the last of the 'Five Good Emperors,' Marcus Aurelius. It cover such diverse topics as the question of virtue, human rationality, the nature of the gods and the values of leadership. These writings take the form of quotations varying in length from one sentence to long paragraphs.

  2. horrible quality

Customer Video Review Length:: 0:12 Mins terrible print, incredibly cheap quality. not worth it. my version was missing the first ten pages of the introduction. don’t bother. find a different seller. the print is super cheap and light, it’s obvious this is just being mass produced for profit. there’s no passion or love in the making of this version.

With the exception that the formatting at Project Gutenberg is better. In this printed edition, too often have I seen the sections/numbers improperly separated (i.e. no carriage returns). The glossary is also poorly formatted. Furthermore, the indentations at the beginning of paragraphs are almost imperceptible. Finally, the text is very small when compared to the page width resulting in...
